Just out of curiosity, how many of you are still waiting on your packages? I highly doubt anyone would be such an asshole as to not send anything, but then again it is a possibility. I'm glad to know my gift made it to its destination exactly as quickly as it was supposed to, but I'm still patiently waiting for mine. I know mine wasn't shipped until the day after Christmas, so I totally understand that some will be arriving pretty late, but this raises the question of just how late is too late? In the event that someone did get screwed over, I'm certain that we're not going to let that go unnoticed. My suggestion is that we give it until the end of January, then if anyone is still empty-handed, the person responsible will be asked to provide tracking information to prove that the box is on its way. If nothing had been sent at that point, they'll get one final warning and be given a week to provide a tracking number before being declared Lord of the Douchebags and permanently losing Oppo authorship. The person who was relying on them can then collect compensation from the rest of us. If everyone who participated chips in just $0.25 via Paypal, that adds up to MORE than the $10 spending limit.

I say your getting awful upset about not receiving a "gift" from an unknown internet entity.

You are also asking the people that actually did what they said they would to "bail you out", so now your penalizing the good guys? Sounds like a solid plan.

This was by far my biggest fear when setting this up! I really hope that it dosen't come to this! However if it comes to the end of january and someone has not received their gift and I am not given a legitimenly good reason as to why I will ban them from entering any future secret senna, they will be publicly humiliated and their email entered into every "win an ipod" website I can find.

I don't know I'll do for the people who did not receive presents but I'll do something. First of all I'll apologize that I allowed such a jackass to enter the game at all. Second I'll do something to help you feel better, like write you a 10 page short story about anything that you want! Lastly I'll publicly declare that the user name of your "senna" will be used in place of any profane word of your choosing for a month on oppo. It's not much but it's what I can do.

I think you're not getting the point here. I'm only saying that if one of us gets screwed over, regardless who it is, it's extremely cheap and easy to make up for it.

I'm still waiting on mine, and still waiting for my giftee to say he's gotten his. But he has not been here for more than two weeks now.

Now, about that tracking number, I can't provide one, simply bevause there isn't one. Why you ask? Well, because the postage would've been twice as expensive then, and I've already spent $20 on postage

Won't find out if I got anything until the 3rd. As of the 20th I haven't received anything, but have been 800 miles away from my apartment since. My management office is collecting my packages for me in the time being.

Hopefully I'll have my Oppo, Hooniverse, and reddit secret santa packages when I get back.

Yeah, that's understandable. I'm sure there's another way to prove it was shipped, though. A tracking number is just the easiest, but it's not necessary. And I'm sure you won't need to worry about it if you've already sent yours.

I was very happy to see that the gift I sent was received very quickly (I think it might have been the first one on here) but I'm assuming mine might take a while since I'm not in the US.

I can describe what was in it, and how I wrapped it and with what, perhaps provide a reciept of what was in it.
My main concern is more that my giftee seems to be gone from oppo.. Which could mean, that someone else won't get a gift.

I think you're not getting the point. You took a risk, you knew it and everyone involved knew it. Are you really going to complain about 10 dollars lost? If that is the case (not the judging is my job) maybe you shouldn't be sending gifts to random people. Are you also saying you would have written this long elaborate post if YOU had received YOUR secret senna and someone else hadn't?

What if the person is in a coma? What if they died? What if their computer broke down or they got snowed in and lost all ways to travel to get something send out? You are making really sweeping accusations before you even know the facts.
